Starting point
Orders are copied from the shop and stock levels are updated manually later. When data differs, it is unclear which system is authoritative.
Proposed approach
Data ownership, identifiers and transfer rules are defined first. An integration transfers a clearly scoped dataset. Errors, retries and manual corrections are planned explicitly.
Intended outcome
Orders and stock levels are processed transparently between the systems. A pilot with selected transactions reveals exceptions before the integration expands. Its benefit is assessed against real processes.
Project goal
Illustrative example, not a client reference
